THE INTERNATIONAL MOTHER LANGUAGE DAY-2020

The Carter Academy School & College (TCA) observed “The International Mother Language Day” with due solemnity on Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Academic Campus.

The students, the teachers and the staff members of The Carter Academy brought out a procession carrying flowers, different posters and banners. They joined the processions bare-footed singing the historical song “Amar Bhaier Rakte Rangano Ekushey February, Ami Ki Bhulite Pari?”

After the procession, they went to the Shahid Minar located at the premises of the school, and offered flowers to the altars. In discussion section, the speakers reminded us of the supreme sacrifice of the Language Movement’s martyrs who laid down their lives to maintain the honor of our mother tongue ‘Bangla’.

The Principal of the Academy, Mr. Md. Taitul Islam presided over the program on the presence the students, the teachers and the staff members of TCA.

Afterwards, a heart touching Dua Program was organized for the peace of all departing souls.
