TCA Holds Its First Classes of Grade Eleven Students July 1, 2017

On Saturday, July 1, 2017, The Carter Academy (TCA) held its first classes for the academic session 2017-18. It was a remarkable day for the grade eleven students. A total of 57 students; 32 in Science Group, 12 in Humanities Group, and 13 in Business Studies Group were admitted. These students attended an orientation program in the auditorium at 10 AM both to prepare for their classes and to get introduced into the academic climate. This is the first time we had so many students in this class.

The program began with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Faysal Mahmud (Class IX) and followed by the short speech by Liza Akter (class XII). Professor Md. Ismail Topader, Principal of the Academy, presided over the program while faculty member Mr. Tamsul Rabbani acted as the anchor. Vice Principal Mr. Mohammad Nazrul Islam, Coordinator Mr. Ibrahim Ali Molla, faculty member Mr. Makhan Chandra Biswas, Mr. Syed Parvez Kaiser, and Mr. Khorshed Alam spoke at this occasion laying out a vision of their future. The function ended at 12.00 PM. Faculty, administration members, Adjutant, and students were present on occasion.

Fifteen teachers have been appointed to serve the Science, Humanities and Business Studies’ faculty. Initially, TCA offer subjects- Bangla, English, ICT (Information & Communication Technology), Physics, Chemistry, Higher Mathematics, Biology, Social Work, Civics & Good Governance, Islamic History & Culture, Accounting, Business Organisation & Management, Production Management & Marketing, and Economics. There are plans to add more subjects in due course as the college grows. Classes are presently held on the first floor of the academy building comprising of Library, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and ICT laboratory facilities.TCA is continuing ten years of its service in imparting highly reliable, meritorious and efficient education currently as a full-fledged Higher Secondary School.
