A Milad and Doa Mahfil was held on Wednesday, January 24 at The Carter Academy (TCA) auditorium for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinees of 2018. This year, 20 students of TCA will appear in the SSC examination under Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Comilla. The SSC examinations 2018 will begin from February 1 and will end on February 22, according to the routine.
Before the milad and doa mahfil, a short discussion session was held in the morning. Professor Md. Ismail Topader, Principal of the academy, presided over the session and SSC examinee Jarful Islam Jarif acted as the anchor. Headmaster and the Center Secretary of Sujatpur Nesaria High School Mr. Shah Jalal, Headmaster of Mamruzkandi Saptagram High School Mr. Khorshed Alam, local UP Member Mr. Khalilur Rahman Miazi and Mr. Dulal Darji were present at the programme as guest.
The programme started with a recitation from the holy Quran by SSC examinee Mehedi Hasan Samir and followed by the presentation of Naat-e-Rasool by class VII student Touhidul Islam. The discussion commenced with short speeches by class X student Romman Ahmed, class XI student Sadia Akter, class XII student Nazir Ahmed, SSC examinee Mayed Ahmed and Priya Akter. Later, Vice Principal of the academy Mr.
Mohammad Nazrul Islam, Coordinator Mr. Ibrahim Ali Molla and faculty member Mr. Khorshed Alam also spoke about the (examinees) upcoming examination.
Islam and Moral Education Teacher Mr. Mosharuf Hossain conducted Munajat after the Doa-Mehfil. Divine blessings for the desired success and prosperity of the SSC examinees and welfare of TCA were sought in the Munajat.
The faculty members, administrative and management staff, guardians, and teachers of MAF Primary school also joined the Milad and doa mahfil, among others.
