Creative Talent Hunt
TCA Students Topped the Science Category in Upazila Level March 18, 2017
A talent hunt titled “Creative Talent Hunt 2017”, was held on March 18
(Saturday) in the Baganbari Ideal Academy to pick the best talents among the students of secondary and higher secondary levels, organised by the Upazila Secondary Education Office, Matlab Uttar, Chandpur. The Carter Academy (TCA) students Mehedi Hasan Antor (class VII), and Jafrul Islam Jarif (class X) participated and topped the Science category in Upazila level. Total 400 students from 16 educational institutions in Matlab Uttar took part in the competition. They were divided in three groups (class VI-VIII, class IX-X and class XI-XII) and took part in the competition based on four subjects, language and literature, science, mathematics and computer, and Bangladesh studies and Liberation War. The ceremony was presided over by the UNO Mr.
Mofizul Islam, whereas Upazila Chairman Mr. Monjur Ahmad graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event created a great enthusiasm among the participants.
