Bangabandhu’s Birth Anniversary and Nat’l Children’s Day observed at TCA March 17, 2017
Afterwards, a discussion was held at the academy auditorium. The program started with a recitation from the holy Quran by the class IX student Faysal Mahmud. Professor Md. Ismail Topader, Principal of the academy presided over the program while Teacher Syed Pervez Kaiser acted as the anchor. In his speech Professor Ismail said, “Sheikh Mujib showed the potential of leadership since his school life. While a student of Gopalganj Missionary School, AK Fazlul Huq, the then Chief Minister of Bengal, came to visit the school (1938). The young Mujib is said to have organised an agitation in order to impress the chief minister about the depressed situation of the region.” Vice Principal Mohammad Nazrul Islam, Senior Teacher Makhan Chandra Biswas, Coordinator Ibrahim Ali Molla, and class VIII student Mahinul Islam were spoke at the ceremony.
Later, Senior Teacher Makhan Chandra Biswas, Teacher Nayan Rani Barman and Student Nusrat Jahan Sadia delivered a number of songs on Bangabandhu. The faculty, admin members and students were present in the ceremony. The program followed by a milad and doa mahfil seeking eternal peace of departed souls of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Islam & Moral Education Teacher Mosharuf Hossain conducted Munajat after the milad-mahfil.
